1. BioEconomy Congress Baden-Württemberg:

Meet on the 29th and 30th of October, 2014 in the House of the Economy in Stuttgart politicians, entrepreneurs, scientists, and other players who want to participate in the creation of the BioEconomy!

On the program you will also find various and exciting subjects referring to biomass as a resource and energy from biomass. The congress is organised by the ministry of science, research and art Baden-Württemberg, the University of Hohenheim and BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg GmbH.

Interested persons are warmly invited, the event is free but please subscribe for previous registration up to the 10th of October! 

The main topics of the congress will be actually these important aspects around the BioEconomy: BioEconomy and politics and its meaning on local levels, BioEconomy and science, prospects of the BioEconomy for companies and start-ups. 

The address of welcome will held the science minister of Baden-Württemberg, Theresia Bauer, MdL, and the keynotes will be held by Prof. Dr. Joachim von Braun, chairperson of the BioEconomy board, and, Prof. Dr. Thomas Hirth, director of the Fraunhofer IGB institute and, former member of the BioEconomy board.  

On the congress, scientists and entrepreneurs will present their researching results and talk about strategies and market trends in the BioEconomy.
