Bosch Board of Directors at bioliq®

The boss of the world biggest car supplier Bosch, Dr. Volkmar Denner, visited in February this year the bioliq® pilot plant at Campus North of the KIT in Karlsruhe. The Robert Bosch GmbH is a group with approximately 300,000 employees and secondary businesses in mechanical engineering, house devices and heating. Bosch represents a certain spirit of innovation combined with social and successful entrepreneurship. Dr. Denner who is actually physicist might have felt "at home" in the KIT certainly, because in former times after the study he had an eye even on a scientific career, according to Dr. Denner. The key note of Bosch, "technology for life", stands for a reasonable contribution for people and society and shall produce sustainable developments, e. g., those of the fully automated car driving. This mobility concept allows cars recognizing exactly the surroundings and, allows quite a new kind of  driving and mobility. A new generation of vehicles also requires new and modern fuels like they can be produced in the bioliq® process: High-quality synthesis fuels can be produced of dry and, lignocellulosic rich biogenic residual materials. Unused biomass residuals thereby becomes a valuable raw material because biomass is the only renewable carbon source. In the bioliq® process the biomass residuals can be fully used energetically and materially: A reasonable contribution to save fossil raw materials can be made.
